The Artist
The sea, the sky and the light.
Not as places but as symbols of life.

I work intuitively with acrylics and mixed media. My paintings rarely begin with a fixed idea. Instead, they evolve through colour, movement, and the thoughts and emotions that emerge throughout the creative process.
Nature is a constant source of inspiration. The sea, the sky, and light frequently appear in my work, not as specific places, but as symbols of the lives we live. They reflect resilience, change, longing, and the possibility of moving forward.
I am fascinated by what exists between darkness and light. Not as opposites, but as parts of the same story. Earlier colours, textures, and decisions remain present, influencing what follows. What is visible matters, but so does what lies beneath the surface. That is where the story resides.
In my artistic practice, I do not seek perfection. I seek presence, movement, and the openings that sometimes reveal themselves when we continue despite uncertainty.
Perhaps that is why light returns so often in my paintings. Not as a destination, but as a direction.
Through my work, I hope to create space for emotion, reflection, and recognition. A reminder of the importance of pausing, taking a breath, and celebrating the beauty of life and the simple joy of being.
